People availing the service during the outreach OPD held at Nungying village on February 13. The event was organised under the aegis of Nagaland Health Project.
Wokha, February 13 (MExN): Medical team from Chukitong PHC led by medical officer Dr Abenthung Murry conducted outreach OPD at Nungying village on February 13. The event was organised under the aegis of Nagaland Health Project (NHP).
Altogether, 72 patients availed free medical checkup and medicines. Screening of malaria, TB and HIV were also conducted by the medical team.
Meanwhile, Dr Murry imparted health talk to the villagers wherein he stressed on the importance of personal hygiene and cleanliness, immunization, VHND and ANC/PNC. Dr Murry in his speech highlighted the various government schemes such as AB PMJAY, JSY, JSSK etc and called upon the participants to avail the services provided by the government.
Further, Dr Murry has informed that with the assistance of NHP, similar outreach OPD programme will be conducted at nearby villages under Chukitong range.
