Induction training for govt employee in Kiphire

The Second Phase Induction Training Programme for Group B & C State Government employee for Kiphire district for 10 days commenced on July 19 at the DC conference hall, Kiphire. Organized by the ATI Kohima, the programme was inaugurated by Kiphire Deputy Commissioner Sedevikho Khro.  

Speaking at the inaugural, the DC Sedevikho Khro told the participants, “State Government has employed you to serve the Government and not to sit at home and draw the salary.” He also said, “If you want to serve and be successful in the department you are posted at, let the training be a stepping stone to upscale your skills.”  

Stressing on the duties and responsibilities of the government employees, the DC said, “punctuality, dedication, efficiency and honesty towards the job you are holding will let the district and the department flourish” and asked the trainee to hold on to these principles.  

He also said that clarity of thought should be there in every employee, to become an asset to the department where one is posted. The DC called upon the trainees to have better co-ordination amongst each other so that the problem faced by the district is done away with especially in law and order problem he maintained.  

The DC also appealed the participants to be attentive, participatory and interactive to make the 10 days training will a weapon to discharge better service for the citizens and the department.   Benjamin, SDO (C) while chairing the programme welcomed the trainees and said that such programme is timely and rare opportunity for the district. He also informed that social work will be conducted with the trainee in the course of the training.  

Dr Alem from ATI Kohima introduced the course to the trainee and asked the trainee to learn by doing. 

Dr Ketoukhrie and Dr P.C Mishra is the resource person for the whole training.
