Tuensang, February 28 (MExN): Tuensang battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North) organized debate competition on the occasion of National Science Day at ARHS, Tuensang on February 28. Five speakers debated on the topic, ‘Is internet a boon?’
A press release from Assam Rifles informed that the participants were students of class VIII, IX and X. The event concluded with prize distribution ceremony and felicitation of best 3 speakers.
According to the press release, the aim of the competition was to inculcate competitive spirit and bring out hidden talent amongst the students. It also highlighted the role science plays in day to day life, it added.
