Internship underway for Modern College Kohima

Vocation students from Modern College Kohima Bachelor are undergoing one month internship programme across different retail stores and business undertakings in Kohima and Dimapur.

Kohima, September 18 (MExN): Modern College Kohima students pursuing Bachelor of Vocation (B Voc) in Retail Management & IT are undergoing one month internship programme across different retail stores and business undertakings in Kohima and Dimapur.

A press release received stated the internship programme was an integral part of the Bachelor of Vocation curriculum aiming to provide the students with experiential learning opportunities ranging from interpersonal skills, knowledge, professional competency, business challenges and opportunities.

Students also get the chance to apply time management, team work & management, leadership, decision making, and relevant marketing skills in their daily assignment.

The release added the students are engaged from September 2 to October 5 across various organizations – Big Bazaar, People, Westside, Royal Enfield, ilandlo, D/Café, Bambusa, Oppa Gimbap, Café Aurora, Food Safari, FIFA, United Trading Agencies, Seyie Auto, and JT Filling Station.

The programme was credit based and students will be evaluated on their performance feedback from the organization, presentation and project report submission.
