Kiphire, October 28 (MExN): The JD (U) Pungro-Kiphire 60 A/C convened a coordination meeting at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire Town Headquarter on October 24. The JD (U) Kiphire Area Unit Parent Body, Advisors and Women Wing were officially formed and the appointment orders were given away in the presence of JD (U) party leaders and workers.
In a press release by Asuthong, General Secretary, Pungro-Kiphire 60A/C JD (U), Thritongse Sangtam, President JD (U) 60A/C highlighted the Party manifesto and welcomed the newly inducted officials and party workers to JD (U) Party in various capacities.
T. Yangseo Sangtam, Ex-Candidate JD (U) 60 A/C in his address, encouraged the gathering to keep the ray of hope and spirit of hard work, dedication, sacrifice and patience alive while respecting the Party manifesto for achieving the common goal. He also urged the gathering to abstain from corruption and contribute to the upliftment of the society, party and nation as a whole.
Kiusuthong Tikhir (V/P 60 A/C), Atongla (President, Women Wing), Yanghori (President, Youth Wing), Kongthrong Yimchunger, (President, Pungro Area Unit) also spoke on sustainability and maintaining the consistency of the party. The meeting was chaired by the Office Bearers of JD (U) 60 A/C. Wongto Sangtam (Advisor) invoked God’s blessing and vote of thanks was delivered by Litsapi Sangtam, Working President JD (U) 60 A/C.
