Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): A central team led by Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, P.N Ranjit Kumar, Director General CCRAS Prof. K.S Dhiman and Deputy Secretary Anshuman Sharma visited Nagaland from September 20 -23 and discussed various issues related to Herbal Ayurveda Research Centre at Lumami Campus, Nagaland University and finalization of an MoU.
On September 22, the Joint Secretary and his team had a meeting with Home Commissioner cum Commissioner, H& FW Abhijit Sinha, Secretary H&FW Maongwati Aier and AYUSH officers at Hotel Japfü, Kohima. Various issues like separate Directorate for AYUSH, setting up of Ayurveda Medical College, setting up of 50 bedded Integrated AYUSH Hospital in Kohima, post creation, parity of pay and regional research centre were discussed in detail during the meeting, according to a press note received here.
