Jungle clearing under Dimapur electrical division today

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 8 (MExN): Office of the Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division has informed that it is planning for a jungle clearing/cutting on February 9, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am within its jurisdiction before the onset of the windy and rainy season during which the 11 KV feeders and LT distribution networks gets severely affected, hampering stable power supply to the consumers.


In this connection, a press release issued by Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division, Er Imseknaba has solicited the cooperation of the village councils, community to request the residents/consumers to clear jungle/obstacles obstructing the 11 KV feeders and the LT distribution network in their respective surroundings as well as volunteer with the department for the same.


Further, in view of the above mentioned exercise, there will be load shedding in the areas where the jungle clearing will be taking place, the press release informed.

Charging of new 66kV Transmission line from Jalukie to New Peren
Office of the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division Dimapur has informed the general public that the department will be energizing the new 66kV Transmission Line from Jalukie to New Peren on February 11 and will remain charged thereafter. The said power line will be passing through the following villages- Samzuiram village, Jalukie B, Kejangwla village, New Peren Hq.


Therefore the general public has been informed to keep away from the power line for the safety of all concerned, a press release issued by Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Er Nitovi A Wotsa informed.
