KBC Youth Endeavour organises career guidance

Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Baptist Church (KBC) Youth Endeavour organised career guidance on September 2 at Khiamniungan Baptist Church, Dimapur with participation of more than 300 youths. The resource persons were Tainiu, ADC Peren and L. Budang, Joint Director Agri and Youth Net Nagaland.  

In the first session, Razouvikhol, Head of Operations, Nagaland Job Centre informed that there are many private sector job oriented programmes and skill development given by the Nagaland Job centre in collaboration to different private companies and the state government. Alem Konyak, faculty, ICFAI University spoke on ‘Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality & Airlines Management’.  

In the second session, Tainiu ADC Peren spoke on preparedness for different competitive exams and its structures. She said that competitive exams are not to be feared rather one should be well prepared to tackle it with the available resources, by utilising their time judiciously and with certain tips. L. Budang Joint Director Agri also said that to be a real champion, youths should have the quality to compete with the challenges and competitions one has to undergo. It is the individual concerned to bring out their own potential up against the odds and succeed.  

The programme was followed up by spiritual awakening evening vesper service with Rev. Vilodi Sakhrie, Pastor Town Baptist Church Dimapur as the speaker.
