Kohima, January 7 (MExN): The 23rd Meet of Losami Youth Wrestling Association was held on January 6 at Losami Village under Phek district.
Kewecholo Akami beat other competitors to be crowned champion. He was awarded cash prize of Rs.15,000 sponsored by Dr. Eyekhweshe Kepfoh.
Runner-up Chenelo Akami was awarded Rs.12,000 sponsored by Neiko Kanuoh.
Third placed Neipelo Wezah was awarded Rs.10,000 sponsored by Er. Keduhiwe Kepfoh. Kuhi Mekrisuh was fourth and was awarded Rs.8,000 sponsored by Neiwelo Khesoh.
Ezhowe K Tara was awarded the title of best wrestler. The LYWA also acknowledged Kewecholo Akami who participated in the 1st Nagaland Olympic 2017 and won silver medal in 65 Kg Category in freestyle and bronze in belt Wrestling.
