Kohima, June 11 (MExN): The 2nd foundation day of Kewhimia Scouts & Guides was marked with picnic cum get together held on June 9 at Medical College, Phriebazhü.
Exhorting the gathering, Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, Scout Master shared that as the motto says, “Be prepared” one should always stick to that and be ready to do anything when called. He said that Scout and Guides is a disciplined movement like that of the military.
K. Neibou Sekhose, who also attended the programme said, “One should be proud to be a Scout and a Guide and being a member of the largest uniform movement in the world.”
Chairing the programme, Kuoliebeizo Mepfhü-o gave a brief introduction on the movement, welcome address was given by Ruokuongulie Albert Solo, special number was presented by Rovers and Rangers and Vidisenuo Belho while votes of thanks was proposed by Kiyakhrienuo Solo.
