Zunheboto, April 1 (MExN): Advisor for Tourism, Art and Culture H Khehovi Yeputhomi visited his Assembly Constituency of Suruhuto to ascertain the preparedness status on the ground and also to convey the message in person about the COVID-19 pandemic and it's deadly impacts.
A press release from the Advisor’s PS informed that Khehovi handed over medicines, hand sanitizers, masks and gloves to STF Suruhuto in the presence of SDO (C), Medical Officer, ATC Chairman and assured his constituency people that he will be available 24/7, if any situation related to Coronavirus crops up.
Earlier, the Advisor had also donated a sum of Rs 1 lakh towards the preparations for COVID-19 response.
The Advisor also requested the constituency people to keep pace with the present global situations by updating themselves with all the latest news and developments taking place. He also appealed them not to panic but to repose their faith in God.
The Advisor also visited Zunheboto to assess the situation on behalf of all the Sumi legislators and handed over the money contributed by all Sumi Legislators. He visited the Isolation Ward at District Hospital Zunheboto and donated hand sanitizers and masks from his own end.
He requested the people to abide by the lockdown norms laid by the Government for everyone’s safety.
