The first ever Kiphire Annual Music Fest hailed as one of the best festivals that Kiphire has ever seen drew a crowd of more than 5000 at Helipad Ground. The festival organised by 7 Assam Rifles Kiphire kicked off on May 8.
Commandant 7 Assam Rifles Kiphire while welcoming the invitees and participants stated that it has always been the mission to create a festival that would shine a light on the amazing sound of Kiphire and 7 Assam Rifles couldn't be happier that the first ever music fest has brought together so many members of music community and music lovers of Kiphire together under one roof.
He also said that “blending different system and cultures, enabling them to exist side by side and fostering synergies between them, without denying their origins, are what artists can teach us.”
Speaking at the inaugural, Sepithong Hd GB and President GBs Association Kiphire expressed gratitude to the 7 Assam Rifles Kiphire for organizing such a mega event for the musicians of Kiphire. He added that music is an instrument of peace that transcend beyond cast, colour, creed and religion.
On the inaugural Music Fest, bands that took the stage were Shield of Faith (SOF), Redheemik Age and 14 IRB Kiphire. Eight artists of diverse act performed as well.
Mentioned may be made that it music feast is the continuity of the Bike Rally which was flagged of by the Inspector general Assam Rifle (North) on May 5 towards ‘HIV/AIDS and Drugs free Nagaland.’
