Stating that “selfish and self-centred interest” are the main cause for every problem, Sedevikho Khro added, “as long as you think for community and have we feeling there will be no problem and the society can experience peace but when you think of your selfish interest it is very difficult to bring balance.” He appealed the gathering to reason why there used to be issues and problem in the district.

Sharing on development, Sedevikho Khro stated that the district is young and there are many unfinished task but things are not moving forward as it should be, and is looked after by neighbouring district.

“Kiphire is your district and if you want to live peacefully so that developmental activities flow, it is an individual’s responsibility and not community responsibility as we are all stake holders for peace and development,” he exhorted.

USLP, ESH, Administrative officers and staffs and Superintendent of Police spoke on the occasion. The district DBs presented folk song while Chemtingo Ovung chaired the programme.
