Kiphire DPDB meeting held

Kiphire, June 13 (MExN): The Kiphire District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) had its monthly meeting on June 12 at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner here.


Vice chairman of the board and DC, Mohammad Ali Shahib (IAS), who chaired the meeting, asked the departments to give presentation on the activities done in one month’s time. He also asked the officers to present the achievement in every DPDB meeting.


The DC also reviewed the minutes of last DPDB meeting and expressed gratitude to the officers for successful conduct of the Lok Sabha bye-election.


He particularly thanked Superintendent of Police Kiphire, Imnalensa (IPS), who is getting transferred to Mon, adding “under your dynamic guidance and support everything went peacefully during election.” The DC also wished him best in his new posting. He further called upon the officers to be sincere as the district is going to be monitored from Delhi on all the developmental works.


Meanwhile, the outgoing SP, Imnalensa thanked the DC, civil societies, and DPDB members. He acknowledged that any achievement and success during his stay is because of common effort. He recollected his first ever posting as SP as “very eventful and memorable.” Imnalensa also appealed to the members to extend same support and cooperation to the incoming SP.


Thungjanbemo Tungoe, SDO (Civil), who is also getting transferred out, thanked the DPDB members.
Agri and allied departments gave presentation on department activities over the past one month.
