Kiruphema Students’ Union 42nd general conference held

Kohima, January 4 (MExN): The Kiruphema Students’ Union (KSU) held its 42nd general conference at Peducha Village Council Hall, Kiruphe Peducha on January 4.  

Speaking on the occasion as the conference speaker, Dr. Ruopfüselhou Kehie, Assistant Chief Technical Officer (Plant Protection), Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mokokchung, stressed on the need to protect and promote the rich culture and tradition of the Nagas. He called upon the students to make the best use of social networking platform, adding that random use of social media have potential to cause harm instead of bringing positive impact. Further, he challenged the students to give due attention to the area of interest and at the same time take a bold step to face any competitive exams.  

Rokovikho Hesielie, associate professor, Kohima Science College Jotsoma also spoke at the valedictory service. Kevichatha Suohumvü, president Service Association Kiruphema also exhorted the gathering.  

Meanwhile, the KSU has elected its new team of office bearers for the tenure 2018-2020 with Vikosato Visienyü as president.
