Dimapur, September 1 (MExN): The Kharao Khaorui Yairum Naga Long (Sagolmang Area Naga Long) has expressed strong resentment and objection towards what it stated was the current outrageous and incessant agitation launched by the SHDCC pressuring Manipur State government to expedite creation of so called Sadar Hills District at the expense of the indigenous Naga Home stead.
KKYNL is a civil organization of the Nagas of the border areas between present Senapati and Ukhrul district. The press note was appended by L. Shangai, president KKYNL, PS Vangam, secy, KKYNL, Z.Reithingam, president KKYNSA, Rose Vashum, president, KKYNSL. The note stated that the demand for the creation of Sadar Hills districthood. KKYNL stated the demand is in total opposition to the will of landowner and hence, KKYNL and its frontal organizations KKYNSA, KKYNSL firmly stand and uphold the decision taken by the UNC in this connection.
