The Kohima Bar Association (KBA) today defeated Seniors FC-Angami Students’ Union (ASU) in the 2nd edition of football exhibition match as part of the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here.
KBA defeated Seniors FC ASU via tie breaker 4-2 and lifted the running trophy donated by Kevilebei Zashiimo, proprietor, Sports Paradise, Kohima.
The match witnessed 1-1 draw till the full allotted time.
Vikyato connected a goal for KBA in the 17th minute while the equalizer for Seniors FC ASU came through Dievi Yano in the 53rd minute.
In tie-breaker, KBA won the match after scoring 3 goals to one goal against Seniors FC ASU.
Keviselhou bagged the award of Golden Glove while Golden Boots shared by Vikyato of KBA and Dievi Yano of Seniors FC ASU.
Khriedi Theiinuo, president KBA acted as match patron.
Meanwhile, another exhibition featuring Angami Students' Union and Angami Youth Organizations will take place on October 19 at 10:00 AM.
