Kohima colony to restrict entry in polling station

Kohima, February 22 (MExN): The Jail Colony Council, Kohima has stated that it will exercise all possible efforts for peaceful conduct of polling in its jurisdiction. Towards this end, the council along with the youth will restrict entry of any outsider (non colony residents) having no vote in its polling station i.e., Polling Station No. 41 under 9th Kohima A/C, except those on election duty, a press release from the council stated. A resolution to this effect was unanimously taken during its council meeting on February 17, the release added. As such, the Jail Colony Council and the Youth Organisation appealed to all concern to co-operate for smooth conduct of the Election in all fairness in the colony.
