Kohima, November 23 (MExN): The 5th Open Kohima District Volleyball championship for men and women will be held at the Local Ground, Kohima from November 25 to 30 under the theme “Transcending through sports”. Organized by the Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA), 15 men’s team and 8 women’s team will compete in the championship. Meanwhile, the KDVA has informed all the Kohima District Volleyball Referee certificate holders to report at the Local Ground on November 24 at 3:00 pm for an emergency meeting. The association has also asked all the participating teams to compulsory attend the inaugural programme on November 25 at 10:00 am. The opening match in the men’s event will be played between Kiruphema Youth Organization and Spark Ketz Mima.
