Kohima Hornbill Gala 2019: Naga style wrestling championship

Winners of both Veteran & under 17 years category.

 

Kezhalelie Keretsü, Mhasinyuzo Peseyie wins

Former NWA champion Kezhalelie Keretsü of Kohima village won the Naga style wrestling championship of Kohima Hornbill Gala 2019 under veteran category held at Naga solidarity park this evening.


He walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with citation.


Rokosielie Khawakhrie of Mezoma village & Rudasa Cürha of Phusachodu village were declared as the first runner up & second runner up  and  awarded  with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 & Rs. 15,000 respectively.


Mhasinyuzo Peseyie son of Rokozhato Peseyie of Jotsoma village was the Champion of the under 17 category and walked away with cash prize of Rs. 20,000 with citations while Mhasheve Resuh son of Doti Resuh of Pholami village stood as the first runner up and pocketed Rs.  15,000/- with citations.


Angutuo Peseyie son of Ketuvolie Peseyie of Jotsoma village and Thejapfütuo Chüsi son of Chakietuo Chüsi of Mezoma village stood 3rd & 4th position and awarded received Rs. 10,000 & Rs. 5000 respectively.
