Mt. Sinai HSS, Northfield enter semi finals

Mount Sinai Higher Secondary School and Northfield today won their respective matches to enter the semi finals as the Pool winners of the ongoing 2nd Kohima District Inter-School Football Tournament at the Kohima Local Ground.
In their respective semi-final matches, Mount Sinai HSS will take on Chandmari HSS in the first match and Northfield will now clash on with Loyola HSS on Saturday.
The tournament is jointly organised Royal Club, Kohima in association with School Education department and Youth Resources & Sports.
In the first match, Mt. Sinai HSS defeated Loyola HSS by a solitary goal. The winning goal came through the boot of Shovelo Doulo in 60th minute.
Northfield trounced Chandmari HSS 2-1 to enter the semis of the tournament.
In the match, Northfield defeated Chandmari HSS 2-1. Janggulan scored in the 15th minute for Chandmari. Northfield got the equaliser through the boot of Kethosenyii in 21th minute. In the second half, Kethosenyii added his second goal in 53 minute to send the team through to the semis as Pool B winner.
