Peren, November 2 (MExN): One day training cum demonstration and interaction (Rabi Campaign) was conducted by KVK Peren and ATMA Peren on October 31 at Buisumpuikam village and Jalukiekam village.
Resource person Dr. Patu trained the farmers on Rabi crops ie Rapeseed and Mustard and its importance in economic upliftment for the villagers. James Kikon i/c KVK Peren also spoke on how to get smart in agriculture farming. He also appraised the farmers to change the old mindset of being proud in buying or spending but be proud in giving or producing more. Akam Zeliang Dy PD ATMA Peren also highlighted the farmers on different activities of ATMA and asked the farmers to take advantages of various capacity building activities.
Vegetables Seed and Toria seeds were also distributed to the farmers. Altogether 67 farmers and 7 officials attended the programme.
