Wokha, September 21 (MExN): Lotha Catholic Catechist Association (LCCA) Wokha elected new office bearers on September 16 at St Paul’s Catholic Church Wokha. Dedication and blessing of new office bearers and holy mass celebration by Reverend Fr AD Jose, Parish Priest Wokha was consequently held.
In his homily address, Reverend Jose encouraged the catechists to have determination and true spirit to bring the congregation closer to church. He also urged the catechists to value more community prayers, hymns and worships.
A press release by Limathung Patton, Catechist St. Paul’s Catholic Church stated that the new team of Lotha Catholic Catechist Association Wokha is led by Thungdemo Timothy (Catechist Longsa) as President, Limhathung Louis Patton (Catechist Wokha) as General Secretary cum Finance Secretary along with four other members. The programme was chaired by C. James Kikon, Assistant Catechist Wokha.
