Phek, February 28 (MExN): Chieswema battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized a lecture and weapon display for the students of Eastern Mission High School at Chizami Town in Phek district on February 28.
The lecture was organized to create awareness among students about Assam Rifles and eligibility criteria to join the force, Assam Rifles informed in a press release. Students were also informed about various types of entry schemes, pay and emoluments and training.
The event also included display of wide array of military equipment and weapons. The lecture was attended by 180 students and 20 teaching staff.
