MLA Neiba Kronu today formally inaugurated the newly government recognized village of Lewoza under Pfutsero Sub-Division of Phek district in the presence of VCCs, VDB Secretaries of neighboring villages, Govt. officers, public leaders and villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, Kronu called upon the Lewoza villagers to work for the development of the village and maintain the virtue of truthfulness like their parent village Leshemi for which they are famous for all over Nagaland.
He also said that during his brief tenure as a member of the state cabinet he was able to ensure the government recognition of two villages namely Lewoza and North Kikruma under 19th Pfutsero Assembly Constituency.
Highlighting on the various developmental activities taken up so far, he however lamented the fact that these were somewhere affected due to political turmoil since last few years.
He also appraised the public about the latest political scenario and exhorted the public to be patient and not get confused by propaganda but make the right decision at the right time by choosing the right leader to ensure all round development of the area.
Oldest man of the village Ngulo Lomi pronounced blessing.
The function was chaired by Mezelo Lomi while welcome address was delivered by Wezhiepe Sara, VCC Leshemi village. Vote of thanks was proposed by Khapelo Sara.
