Dimapur, December 4 (DIPR): Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar celebrated pre-Christmas on December 4 in a befitting manner which was hosted by Likya group comprising of eight females. LBCD Associate Pastor, Yimtsu Yanthan who was the speaker of the day extended Christmas greetings and exhorted the congregation to celebrate Christmas with renewed spirit and a clean heart. Associate Pastor Wopansao Ovung invoked God's blessings while Mhalo Tsopoe read the scripture. LBCD Choir presented a special rendition adding more colours to the programme. The Pre Christmas programme was led by Pastor LBCD, Limhathung Lotha while benediction was pronounced by Deacon, Nrinimo Humstoe followed by grand pre-Christmas feast. It may be mention that the entire Christmas programme 2016 of LBCD is being hosted by Likya group comprising of eight females. With commitment and dedication, the group has worked for 2 years by raising income in the form of providing catering services during weddings and other social functions. They also made delicious Naga ethnic cuisines, dish wash, surf and flowers for sale with the vision to host LBCD Christmas programme 2016. LBCD has more than 1000 plus baptized members with more than 400 household and a total population of approximately 2000 members counting both young and old.
