Kohima, October 9 (MExN): All livestock owners and farmers are informed that the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services is carrying out Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccination on Cows, Buffaloes, Mithuns, Pigs, Goat and Sheep on a Mission Mode under the programme NADCP - “FMD Mukt Bharat.”
Therefore, Dr. Temsumeren, Director, AH &Vety Services has made an appeal to all livestock owners to mandatorily get their animals vaccinated from the nearest Veterinary Hospitals, Dispensaries,/ Health Centre, Vaccination visiting the villages, wards, colonies etc.
Further, all village functionaries and councils are requested to direct the livestock owners in the respective Villages for compulsory vaccination.
