DSSU executive meeting
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union first executive meeting will be held at its union banker Notun Bosti on July 20 at 11:00am. All office members are requested to attend the meeting positively without fail.Meanwhile, DSSU General Secretary, Hutoka Shikhu in a press note has deeply mourned the demise of Vitoyi Zhimomi, Senior GB Xuvihe colony after he passed away on 16th July, 2011 at Dimapur. The union conveys their condolences to the bereaved families and prays for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Biometric exercise at Dhansaripar
Dimapur, July 18 (DIPR): The Biometric exercise for Dhansaripar Sub-Division will be commenced from July 19 onwards, in this regards SDO (C) & Charge Officer Dhansaripar, Anoop Kinchi IAS requested to all citizens for cooperation and active participation.

Kohima, July 18 (DIPR): The Nagaland Transport Commissioner has notified in an office memorandum that Interstate Bus Terminus (ISBT) Dimapur as fixation for High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) for all vehicles other than light non-transport vehicles for those vehicles that avail the facility of HSRP fixation from the office of the DTO Dimapur with immediate effect.

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): 2nd Phase Photo Identity Card for Zheri Khel (Z. Khel) is scheduled to be held on July 21 and 22, 2011. A press note issued by Nongozol Pucho, Information & Publicity, Zheri Youth Organization, Z. Khel, Viswema stated that those eligible voters who have not taken photo in the 1st Phase may kindly come and avail the 2nd Phase of photo session on the above said days at Zheri Panchayat Hall. Also, there will be Social Work on July 23 at Agri-Link Road.
DIS informed on DVC Final Report duty
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): All DISs are informed to collect the DVC Final Report duty approved by the Cabinet/Department of School Education from the Directorate of School Education from July 18 Monday onwards from the legal section. This was informed in a press release issued by School Education Director N Khevito Sema.
Mass social work at Mkg
Mokokchung, July 18 (MExN): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has called for a mass social work on July 23, 2011 (Saturday) in Mokokchung town. Informing this in a press note, the MMC informed that the decision to conduct the social work was arrived at the Council’s meeting on July 14, 2011. In this regard, the MMC informed that cleaning of private residence and surrounding should be done within July 20 and 21, 2011. The mass social work shall commence from 7:00 am on Saturday. Besides, besides the MMC informed that the Council shall provide refreshment to all the participants in the social work. In this regard, the MMC informed all the ward authorities to collect Rs 2000 each from the MMC office during office hour from July 20, 2011 onwards.
Menjangkong Farmers Club sales day
Mokokchung, July 18 (DIPR): The Menjangkong Farmers Club of Mangmetong Village will be organizing a Vegetable/ handicraft sales day on July 23 near Dilong Government Higher Secondary school Mokokchung. According to the Chief Co-ordinator, Menjangkong Farmers Club Limawati, the purpose in organizing the sales day is to encourage and uplift the moral of the farmers and different Self Help Groups in the village. He further urged one and all to contribute by visiting the sale on the mentioned day.
Legation at Mon from July 21
Mon, July 18 (DIPR): Along with the rest of the world, Mon district too observed the World Population Day in the district headquarters on 11th July 2011. In this connection, legation (birth control) will be held in the district hospital from July21 to 24. All the interested persons are requested to avail the opportunity by enrolling their names in the hospital.
Schools upgradation in Tuli
Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The upgradation of Government High School, Tuli to Government Higher Secondary School, and Government High School Tzudikong from Government Primary School and Government Primary School Tuli ‘C’ to Government Middle School will be done on July 20. Temjen Jamir, Advisor, NBDA Nagaland, in a press note informed that Minister, Neiwang Konyak will grace as the chief guest for the declaration programme of GHSS, Tuli and GHS, Tzudikong on July 20.
