Governor award ceremony on Jan 26

Kohima, January 24 (MExN):
The Governor award ceremony for distinction in the field of literature, art and music will take place on January 26 on the occasion of Republic Day 2011. The award ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan, Kohima from 12:00 noon onwards.

AHODS/HODS to collect car pass

All AHODs & HODs have been informed to collect Car Pass on January 25, 2011 for the Republic Celebration during office hours from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

BJP (ST Morcha) meet resolves

Kohima, January 24 (MExN):
The general meeting of the State Bharatiya Janata Party (ST Morcha) was held at Kohima at the residence of its president (ST Morcha) on January 6 last. During the meeting, the house has unanimously resolved to appoint the following persons; Sepili L. Stm- general secretary, BJP (ST Morcha), vice president- Sitaram Singh- BJP (ST Morcha) incharge Dimapur and vice president- S. Tongpise- BJP (ST Morcha) in-charge Kiphire.

Mass social work conducted at Shamator

Tuensang, January 24 (DIPR):
Mass Social work was conducted at Shamator town on January 24 from 7am to 12.noon. The works was supervised by ADC Shamator in all the colonies. Civil societies including Shamator town Student’s Union, School children and YBBA Staff also took part in mass social work. ADC Shamator Singsom, lauded all the citizens of Shamator for their co-operation and sense of responsibility in maintaining  their home town.

DC Dimapur informs on R-Day

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN):
All head of Departments of Dimapur district are hereby informed that attendance at the Republic Day function is mandatory. A press note issued by Maong Aier, deputy commissioner, Dimapur stated that attendance of all department officers and staffs of Dimapur will be taken at DDSC stadium and to submit reports to the district administration right after closing function. Therefore, all head of departments are requested to inform their officers & staffs to attend the function accordingly. Further, all markets and shops shall remain closed till 12 noon on January 26, 2011.

Phom Students’ Conference inform

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN):
In view of the forth coming 2011 HSLC/HSSLC examination duty which begins from February 10, all the executive members of the Phom Students’ Conference are asked to reach the headquarter on February 8. Further, the Conference Assembly Speaker has asked those officials who did not turn up for the annual general meeting on January 13 to bring a fine of rupees 1000 each.

UUD elects new office bearers

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN):
The Usutomi Union Dimapur (UUD) has its annual session at Er. Yeqhevi Shohe’s residence and elected its new office bearers for the tenure (2011-2013). A press note issued by UUD informed that Er. Vikiye.N Chishi was elected as chairman, Vitolu Chophy as secretary, Vishiho Achumi as treasurer, and Xukuto Kinimi, Aheto Kinimi, Viqheshe Achumi as sector representatives.
