Hazi Park Businessmen Welfare Committee and Tibetan Bhutia Welfare Association have jointly completed construction of a long ignored road inside Hong Kong Market, Dimapur after obtaining permission from the Dimapur Municipal Council.
The road was formally inaugurated by MLA & Chairman NIDC Ltd, Tovihoto Ayemi on Saturday in the presence of DMC Administrator, H. Atokhe Aye, the two business organizations, owners of business establishments in the market and other well-wishers.
Tovihoto lauded the initiative of the two business organizations in Hong Market for constructing the road for the convenience of shoppers. He said the road construction marks an improvement in the market, which is the business centre point for various commodities in Dimapur. He assured of any assistance to the Hong Kong Market business organizations in the future.
Tovihoto reminded that the NPF-led DAN government was for the people and could continue to work in the interest of the citizens.
