Kohima, September 9 (MExN): The Lotha Student's Union St. Joseph's College, Jakhama celebrated its 30th fresher's day cum social gathering on September 2 at Molu Ki Hall, Kohima with Wonthungo Tsopoe, Director of School Education, Kohima Nagaland as the chief guest and Renthungo Humtsoe Asst. Professor, St. Joseph's College Jakhama, as the theme speaker. The chief guest, in his address encouraged the students to give more commitment in their career and struggle hard to achieve their goals and ideals. Speaking on 'Knowledge is Victory,’ the theme speaker said that students are at the right stage to start preparing for competitive exams. He asserted that experience is the best teacher and one cannot do without life skills, no matter who we are. “Education and experience should go handling hand,” he said. Benrithug and Mhalo bagged the title of Mr. and Miss Fresher's respectively.
