Kohima, September 22 (MExN): Lieutenant Hitesh Singh, son of Lance Naik Bachan Singh attended the Closing Ceremony of the 4th edition of Capt N Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament on September 21.
Lt. Hitesh during his visit also installed the bust of Late Capt Kenguruse at the Capt Kenguruse War Memorial at Nirhema village on September 22. The bust was unveiled only a day earlier at the Kohima Local Ground by Lt Gen Abhay Krishna, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, GOC-in-C Eastern Command during the Kenguruse Football Tournament.
Late Lance Naik Bachan Singh belonged to the same 2 Raj Rif Battalion of late Capt N Kenguruse. Both were martyrs in the Kargil War.
Lt Hitesh, a junior commissioned officer and Sepoy of 2 Raj Rif attended the Capt Kenguruse Football Tournament and also met the Kenguruse family, a release here stated.
