Longleng, April 12 (MExN): The 1st L. Chonglang Open Men’s Volley Ball Trophy was held from April 5 to 7 at Local Ground Bhumnyu Village, Longleng. Organized by the Bhumnyu Citizen Students’ Union (BCSU), the tournament is named after the founding president of the BCSU. Lungma Reju Zunga, Changtongya defeated the organizers Bhumnyu Citizen Students’ Union in the final to walk away with Rs.30, 000 along with trophy and certificate while the runner-up were awarded Rs.20,000. Hukphang Students’ Union won the third place playoff and walked away with Rs.10,000. Imnungkumba of BCSU was adjudged the Best Spiker while Imtichuba and Sanen, both of LRZ Changtongya, were awarded Best Setter and Player of the Tournament respectively.
