The Mokokchung Art and Aesthetic Management (MAAM) is all set to fire this festive season with “Winter Melody,” a concert in aid of MAAM Cancer Trust Fund, on December 12 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex.   Winter Melody has been organized with the main objective of raising funds for the MAAM Cancer Trust Fund. “Mokokchung being the centre point for many other districts, there are a lot of cancer patients who are down trodden and cannot afford to go for further treatments,” said Asola Ozukum, President MAAM.   “We, the MAAM, wanted to reach out to the poor people and help them in any way we can, for which we decided to have a Cancer Trust Fund, and we are giving our best to the society in which ever small way we can,” she added.   Winter Melody concert will feature Rosy K. Remsamppuii from Mizoram, Samaro and Incipit and apart from the concert there will also be food stalls. MAAM has been very actively involved in the various social works ever since its inception in 2014.   Apart from organizing the Miss Mokokchung contest for two consecutive years, MAAM has been tirelessly working for the differently abled people in collaboration with the Care Foundation as well as with the cancer patients at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung.   The Winter Melody concert tickets are priced at Rs. 1000 and Rs. 200 respectively and will be available through these contacts: 9089555813/8731918363.
