Atütü is an indigenous bamboo trumpet of the Pochury tribe of Meluri sub-division of Phek district. A special species of bamboo is used in the making of this trumpet by the expert craftsmen.

The instrument is made up of varying components fitted together to create the trumpet like shape. It is played to mark special occasions. Blowing the trumpets starts towards the end of February to herald and announce the advent of a certain (Nazhu) festival.

Atütü is played by male member of the Morung in the evening throughout the festival. The trumpet also serves as a warning signal to ward of birds and animals in the rice fields, to alert the collective habitat when enemies attack and also to signal the declaration to wage war.
