Making India Corruption Free

•- We have to ensure an ethical and corruption free environment for functioning. We have to bring in the conditions for transparent and efficient workplace, so that our best brains don’t migrate west and we can retain talent at home and even attract top expats. We must make our country a safe and dependable destination for global investment.  We owe it to our children, our next generation.  We have not only to tweet or e mail as armchair activists but actually organize local groups to take action to improve the environment around us. One Anna Hazare cannot clean up the vitiated and decadent atmosphere where we ourselves have been cutting corners, disobeying the law, bribing the officers to quickly reach our short term goals. We have to work for changing the laws of the land and spend time to see that the office we work in is clean and corruption free.
We have to be proud to own up our mistakes, encourage our family and friends to pay up fines if and when we unwittingly cross the red light at the traffic junction. We have to create an equitable society around us where we evolve a comfortable and sustainable lifestyle that is conducive for the billion plus people of our land. The big question is do we have the courage? Do we have the integrity? Do we have the enterprise? Do we have the strength and fortitude to do it for India? Do we have enough ‘ants in our pants’ to make it work?
