Mokokchung, July 28 (MExN): Due to the increase positive cases of malaria and its impending, the District Vector Borne Office, Mokokchung, organised a sensitization campaign in the villages of Mokokchung.
A press note stated that the team led by Tarep Longchar, DMEIO, Mokokchung, IEC personnel and surveillance workers from District Malaria Office conducted sensitization campaign on vector-borne disease. During the campaign, IEC leaflets were distributed and also focus group discussion held.
Villagers were sensitized on the prevention, signs and symptoms of malaria etc. Blood samples were also collected from the participants for testing of malaria. The campaign was attended by ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, village health committee members and the villagers.
