DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 10 (MExN): In a belated report reaching here, a man was trampled to death by a rogue elephant at Longtsung Village area under Wokha district. The Longtsung Village Head GB under Sanis Sub-Division of Wokha District in a press note informed that on December 8, 2016 one Nyamo Mozhui (29 years) S/o Late Simon Mozhui hailing from Longtsung Village was trampled to death by a rogue elephant at Longtsung Village stretch. Late Nyamo Mozhui along with two of his relatives were on their way to work at their rubber plantation farm in the morning when the incident occurred. However, the two others managed to escape, the press note stated. In this connection, the Longtsung Village has appealed the concerned authority to look into the matter at the earliest for necessary action.
