Manipur CM to inaugurate NE Healthcare Conference

Imphal, June 13 (MExN): Executives of top-rung hospitals from across the country are set to gather at Imphal on June 16 for the North East Healthcare Conference being organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the City Convention Center.   To be attended by more than 300 stakeholders, the showpiece conference will be inaugurated by N Biren Singh, the Chief Minister of Manipur, while the state’s Health & Family Welfare Minister, L Jayanta Kumar Singh, will be there as Guest of Honour, a press release from the CII informed.   CEOs and CMDs from the country’s top-rung hospitals such as Narayana Hrudalaya, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, AMRI, Medica Super Speciality Hospital, Mission of Mercy Hospital & Research Centre, Vinayaka Mission Super Speciality Hospital, Care Hospitals, Dr Agarwal’s Eye Clinic, NEIGRHIMS, Charnock Hospital, will gather for the conference, the release added.   “The conference will be a great platform which not only seeks to build a strong eco-system for quality healthcare delivery for the state as well as the region, but it will also make a serious attempt to bring investments to the North East including Manipur,” Mayank Jalan, Chairman, CII North East Council, said in a statement.   “The fact that leading healthcare players from across the country… will be there for the conference is ample proof of the keen interest of the healthcare fraternity in the region,” Jalan added.
