GPPK office cum library inauguration The new office cum library of Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) will be inaugurated at GPPK complex in Chandmari, Kohima on December 17, 11:30 am. PB Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and Pankaj Kumar, IAS, will grace the occasion as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. All the executives of the Gorkha NGOs, GBs, leaders and well wishers have been requested to attend the programme. Emlomi Union Dimapur meeting The Emlomi Union Dimapur has convened a general meeting on December 18, 12:30 pm at the residence of Kisheto Kiba at Diphupar A, Referral Colony to discuss matters related to annual picnic cum New Year celebration. Lotha-Rengma Cl-I contractors’ meet An emergency meeting of the Lotha Rengma CI-I Contractor Association (LRCI-ICA) will be held on December 19, 11:00 am at the office of Wokha District Class-I Contractors. All the members of the association have been requested to attend the meeting without fail. PACSU general session cum freshers’ social The 20th General Session cum Freshers’ Social of Pungro Area College Students’ Union (PACSU) will be held from December 20-21 at the union’s headquarters in Pungro Town under the theme ‘Challenging Prospects’. T. Torechu, MLA & Chairman, NKVIB will grace the inaugural session as the chief guest, while Bendangmoa, Team Member, Nagaland Bee Keeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) and S. Kiusumew Yimchunger, President, Public Forum Pungro Sub-division (PFPS) will be the guest speaker and special guest respectively. The two-day event will culminate with the 4th edition of Miss PACSU pageant, according to a press release from PACSU general secretary, Rasuka Jacob S. The union has extended invitation to all the former officials and HoDs of Pungro sub-division. All the members and federating units should attend the session, the release added. Further, any agenda should be submitted to the Federal Assembly before the commencement of the session. Landowners/Pattadars meet There will be a meeting of the Landowners/Pattadars whose lands are under the occupation of army in Dimapur on December 20, 11:00 am at ‘The Hut’ located below Head Post Office, Kohima. Therefore, all the Landowners/Pattadars have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
