Sumi Council, Dimapur meeting An emergency meeting of the Sumi Council, Dimapur has been convened on May 5, 5:00 pm at its office premises in Supply colony, Dimapur. A press release from the council chairman, Kuhoi Zhimo has requested all the office bearers to attend the meeting without fail “as some urgent issues need to be addressed immediately.”   Mokokchung DPDB meet deferred In view of the bye-election to the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland, the monthly meeting of Mokokchung DPDB scheduled for May 7 stands deferred. All the DPDB members have been informed to take note of it.   APO Executive Council meeting The Angami People’s Organisation has called an Executive Council meeting on May 7 at 10:00 am at APO Hall, Kohima. The organization in a press release has requested all the executive council members and representatives of the various units (NAPO, SAPO, WAPO and CPO) to attend the meeting without fail.   Longleng DPDB meeting The District Planning Office, Longleng has informed that the Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of May will be held on May 7 at DC's conference hall, Longleng at 11:00 am. Therefore, all members of the board have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.   Kohima DLCC meeting Kohima District Nodal Officer for NTPC, Dr. Arenla Walling has informed all the members of District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) that a meeting on tobacco control will be held on May 11 at 11:00 am at the DC’s conference hall, Kohima. All concerned members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.   ANCSU presidential meeting The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has convened its 1st presidential meeting on May 19, 11:00 am at NSF conference hall, Oking Naga Club Building, Kohima. All the affiliated colleges/institutions units presidents and general secretaries have been informed to attend without fail. ANCSU general secretary, Vimeyiekho Vitso in a press release further informed all the units to submit a symbol of the union/council official letter pad and details of the unit union/council office bearers.   NSCA annual GBM The Annual General Body Meeting of the Nagaland Senior Citizens’ Association (NSCA) has been convened on May 24 at 11:00 am in the conference hall of the Red Cross Building, Kohima. A press release from the association stated that the following business will be conducted during the meeting: Discussions on Nagas Welfare; Election of the new Executive Members of the NSCA for the term 2018-2022; and other agendas, if any. All concerned elders of Nagaland have been requested to attend the meeting and enrich the deliberations through participation.
