VRS applicants under PWD (R&B)&(H) informed

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The list of the VRS beneficiaries’ names under PWD (R&B) and (H) t has been released by the Government which earlier could not be informed/located as they opted for VRS way back in 2005. This was informed in a press note issued by Z. Zhimomi, Advocate. All the “left out” VRS applicants under PWD (R&B) and (H) who on verification by the Vigilance Special Task Force (STF) were found genuine, but denied VRS by the Government for having been appointed after 1994. On the direction of the Court, VRS amount of Rs.23, 750/- (Twenty three thousand seven hundred fifty) per head has been released by the Government and disbursed to the Divisions.

ANSTA convene executive body meeting

Kohima, April 16 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) is convening its executive body meeting on April 26 at LCS building near Ao Church, Kohima at 10:00 AM. All the units/sub units office bearers have been directed to attend the meeting positively. Meanwhile, the concerned units/sub units have been requested to submit yearly membership fee for 2011.

BKD cultural seminar on April 23

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The Benreului Kangbau Dimapur (BKD) will be organising a cultural seminar on April 23 at the residence of Mr & Mrs Paukwerangbe Reunim at Burma Camp from 8:00 am. Therefore, the Kangbau in a press release has requested all its members to attend the cultural seminar without fail and BKD youths are directed to compulsorily attend the seminar.  

BLOs of Kma dist informed

Kohima, April 16 (MExN): The office of the deputy commissioner & district election officer, Kohima informed all the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Kohima district that their remuneration for the year 2009 & 2010 shall be released on April 19 onwards during 11:00 hours to 13:00 hours. The concerned BLOs have been informed to produce their appointment letters as proof of performing duty.

CCHE informs    

Kohim, April 16 (MExN): The Capital College of Higher Education (CCHE) informed the students of BA II and BA III that regular class shall start from May 2. In this connection, all the students have been informed to take provisional admission on or before April 30. In the event that student fails to get promoted in the university exams, the admission fees of those students shall be refunded. Further, the admission forms and prospectus are being issued for the academic session 2011-12. This was stated in a release issued by Dr. Zokho Venuh, vice principal CCHE.

Coaching classes from May 9

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The UGC-Sponsored SC/ST coaching centre at Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) is conducting coaching classes free of cost for aspirants of various competitive exams from May 9. The classes will be conducted from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the college campus. Dimapur Govt College principal informs

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The principal of Dimapur Government College, Dimapur, Dr Nobert Noraho has informed in a notification that the BA I, BA II, B.Com I and B Com II are requested to take the provisional admission to the BA II, BA III, B Com II and B Com III from April 26 to 30. Moreover, classes will commence from May 4 and admission to BA I and B Com I shall be notified later.

FTC 2nd graduation ceremony

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): Faith Theological College (FTC), Dimapur will be conducting its 2nd graduation ceremony at Town Hall, Dimapur on April 20 at 11:30 am with K. Hocto Kinimi, IFS, conservator of forest, Southern Territorial Circle, Nagaland as the chief guest and Rev. Dr. V. K Nuh, general secretary, Council of Naga Baptist Churches (CNBC) as the guest speaker. FTC founder principal, Rev. Dr. S. PVSU Ist sitting on April 23

Kohima, April 16 (MExN): The Pangti Village Students Union (PVSU) will hold its first sitting on April 23 at 10:00 AM at its Union office at Pangti village. In this connection, all the executive members have been informed to attend the said meeting positively, failing which the Union will take stern action against the absentees.

School donate funds to tsunami victims

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The headmaster, faculty members and students of Tewelhi Medo Tyrannus School Pfutsero conducted a relief drive for the tsunami victims in Japan. The funds collected were submitted to the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland Branch, Kohima which has been remitted to the IRCS, national headquarters, New Delhi for onward submission to the Japan Red Cross, informed the general secretary of IRCSNZakie Kire in a pres note. The note also said that any individuals, organizations etc. willing to come forward for donation may submit to the red Cross Office, Kohima.

Three BJP workers join NPF

Kiphire , April 16 (MExN): Former Youth Wing President of BJP (Seyochung Area) Ghovito, Khekiye GB of Phisami Village, Khehuto GB of Yangzitong Village joint NPF party to extend their support to C. Kipili Sangtam the sitting MLA of 59 A/C in the next general election under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio Chief Minister and Dr. Shurhozelie President NPF Nagaland. Training on visual classroom conducted

Kohima, April 16 (DIPR): A half-day training programme on digital audio/visual classroom for all the teacher of Little Flower Higher Secondary School was conducted on April 16 at the school. The programme was held to impart training on the use of modern technology in teaching/learning process. Sandeep Bhattacharjee, from Teach Next Company from Kolkatta was the resource person. Altogether 55 teachers participated in the training. The main features of the training were Next Studio, Interactive Board Training, Remote Functioning/Navigation, Next Dictionary and TOC Soft copy, Do’s & Don’t’s.

Kohima, April 16 (MExN): All the newly elected Account Assistants under the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts are hereby informed that the departmental training programme will commenced from April 26. YAN appoint tribunal members

Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The Youth Association of Nagaland (YAN) 1st association Executive Council meeting was held on April 9 where tribunal members of the Association were appointed as per the constitution. V. Pushika Aomi (ex-president, DNSU & NSF) is the tribunal general; K. Temjen Jam ir (ex-president, DNSU & NSF) and Odeb Yimchunger (ex-president DNSU & Joint Secretary ENPO) as the tribunal members.
