Minister of H&TE visits govt institutes in Tuensang and Mokokchung

Mokokchung, August 17 (MExN): Minister Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs Temjen Imna Along is currently touring the Government Institutes in Tuensang and Mokokchung Districts.


A press release from press secretary to the minister informed that Along visited the Government Polytechnic Sedem under Tuensang District on August 16 and Fazl Ali College (FAC) and Institute of Communication & Information Technology (ICIT) in Mokokchung District on August 17.


In Polytechnic Sedem, the Minister urged the students to be sincere and responsible in their studies.


Later Minister Along with principal and teaching staff visited the site of the new construction hostel inside the campus.


Welcoming the Minister for his second visit to the Polytechnic Sedem, the Principal acknowledged the concern Minister for his timely response to the needs of the student's community and for all necessary steps taken under his concern in-charges.


During an interaction with the students, the minister assured the student's community that he will provide table tennis and badminton set for their leisure time and handed cash to buy a guitar for the students, the update informed.


In FAC Chuchuyimpang, the minister inspected the classrooms of different blocks, administrative building and took first-hand information from the concerned authority and stakeholders.


During a short meeting with college teaching staff, the Principal expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his concern towards the student’s community and his timely positive response in catering to the needs of the student’s community.


Later in the afternoon, the tour team visited ICIT, Mokokchung and had a healthy interacted with students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff there.
