Our very own homegrown theatre artist/political satirist/comedian, Miss Imsong is all set to tickle a few funny bones with a set written exclusively for a Naga audience. For those who arrived late to the scene Miss Imsong is most well known for her comic sketches most notably the her video ‘Presumptuous chinky assumes the North Indian way’, a satirical take on on reverse racism that divided the Internet and sealed her place as one of India’s Funniest. Also known for her accent skills, her sketches continue to delight, amuse and perhaps irk some with content picked up from the everyday realities of a Naga. So are you exhausted from ‘keeping up with the political monkeys of Nagaland’, Miss Imsong offers you a breather tonight at D’cafe with her first ever show in Kohima, ‘One Night Stand with Miss Imsong’ 5pm onwards. For those who cannot make it tonight, there’s another show lined up the very next day on December 16 @Ozone Café Razhü Point at 5:00 pm.
