MITE Kohima holds 6th Graduation Day

Kohima, October 13 (MExN): Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima celebrated its 6th Graduation Day on October 13 at MITE Auditorium with Zale Neikha, MLA and Advisor Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland as guest speaker.  

Special Guest, Zale Neikha in his speech stressed on dignity of labour and any kind of job, should not be overlooked by our educated, unemployed youths in the society, a press release from Principal Devanand Sinha stated.  

Neikha also emphasized that “teacher-educators play a great role in the society and that their jobs are as honourable as any other job since the future of the Naga society depends upon the teachers of today.”  

Principal, MITE, Devanand Sinha in his welcome address stressed on the importance of mentoring and the mentoring cell at the Institute.   A speech was also delivered by the NU, 9th Rank Topper, Likhyano E Humtsoe.  

She talked about the experiences she had as a Student-Teacher of MITE and how the experience has moulded her to be a better individual. She said that one should follow their dreams no matter what.  

The programme was followed by an interactive session with the valedictorians.  

The event was hosted by Luhala and Kethoseto Krose and invocation was pronounced by Lhousilenuo Hama.
