Mokokchung, March 7 (DIPR): Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held in the ADC (Planning) conference hall here on March 7.
SDO (C) Mokokchung, M Chaitanya Prasad, IAS, who shared the experiences of the recent State election, asked all the DPDB members to pen down their experiences or suggestions like what could have been better, what went well or what went wrong and to submit the same so that the suggestions or critiques can be compiled and kept for references. This will throw light in doing things more effectively in the future, he stated.
Verification report on up-gradation of Sapangya Compound to Urban Station was presented by UDO Mokokchung and the house decided to forward it to the government for necessary action. Up-gradation of Primary School Lejaba Lijen to Class-IV was also discussed, for which the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS, entrusted SDEO for verification and asked to submit the report for further action.
The DC also informed that a preparedness meeting on disaster will be held in the later part of the month. In this regard, the departments concerned were asked to prepare necessary reports and action plans. Meanwhile, Executive Engineer (Electrical) Mokokchung division informed the departments having arrear of electricity bill to clear it by March 30.
