Members of Family Counselling Centre Sub-Committee, Mokokchung duting its quarterly meeting held on June 28.
Mokokchung, June 29 (MExN): The Family Counselling Centre Sub-Committee, Mokokchung, had its quarterly meeting on June 28. It was attended by Dinesh Gupta (IPS), SDPO, Mokokchung, Amenla representative of Watsu Mongdang, Imchawati Kichu, Managing Director, C&SS and Yangerienla Counsellor, FCC.
During the meeting last meeting minutes were reviewed and found out that almost all the agendas were achieved.
It was agreed upon that the focus of Committee for the next quarter will be upon ensuring “a healthy family environment for the teenagers and youths to grow into successful and responsible citizen”.
The Committee also decided that for this to happen special attention has to be given to ensure that the marital relationship between husband and wife do not strain to the point where they are not able to take care of their children. Effort should be made to reconcile the differences and save the families from breaking. The Committee also decided to conduct Seminars and penal discussion to create awareness in this regard.
