Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): Zhaleo Rio, MLA from 5 Ghaspani-II A/C visited the construction site of the lone hanging bridge that connects Henivi and Toluvi villages with Dimapur on December 19 and assessed the ongoing work.
Briefing villagers and party executives, he affirmed that the work will be completed in time and that “there cannot be any compromise in terms of the quality of work,” informed a press release from NPF, 5 Ghaspani-II A/C.
The release noted that the earlier bridge was washed away by flash floods this year and it was through the MLA’s personal intervention that reconstruction began right after monsoon.
The bridge, which connects the two villages with Dimapur near Padumpukhuri over Chathe river, will be pliable even for two-wheelers once completed in time, it was informed.
