Moile Longkongly was crowned the winner of “Miss Phom 2017” while Lenke Aventh was crowned the first runner-up and Angshom Chemdok was crowned as the second runner-up.
Days of hard work and dedication of ten aspirants for the coveted title “Miss Phom 2017”, culminated in the grand finale, held on the night of Sep. 29, 2017 at Baütung Higher Secondary School (BHSS) auditorium, Longleng district with the theme “Beauty to inspire”.
Miss Phom 2017 Moile Longkongly will be the brand ambassador of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority Longleng district to advocate the concept of safety and resilience in the district, and Miss Talent Angshom Chemdok will be the brand ambassador of Zynorique Initiatives.
The event was organised by likeminded group Hongba Phom, Tali Angh, Pauloi Phom, Mongsen Phom, Amos Phom, Mandok Phom, Lachong Phom, Doichong Phom and Henlly Phom in collaboration with Yingla Welfare Society with Fingerprint as the event partner.
The panel of judges' were Miss Nagaland 2013 2nd runner up, Yamaha Fascino Kolkatta 2014 Dr. Abeny Khuvung, Designer Piketo Zhimomi, Akangchila from The Morung Express, Yingla Welfare Society President Julia Yonghok and Longleng ADC Temsuwati Longkumer.
The Finalists band, Kimatsung Jamir, Longti Sayer, Pauloi Phom and Manchai Phom performed live on-stage that added up the glamour and glitz to the evening.
Leinak Pump Agency, Angh Khülap, Atok Multi Purpose Welfare Society Yongnyah, Zynorique Initiatives, Mongsen Photography, Fusion Store Dimapur, Clinical Spa, Shamakok Dental Clinic, Gift Galore, Symbiosis, Pinnacle Skills, Aroma Eatery, and Indian Restaurant were the event sponsors.
The official designer for the event were designer’s Doichong Phom and Shayan Phom, and Zareni Kikon (Perfection hair and beauty unisex studio Dimapur) as the official hair stylist and makeup artist. The show was choreographed by Toshizen Longkumer.
The subtitle winners are: Hanlemmoila (Miss Congeniality), Lenke Aventh (Best Ethnic Wear), Moile Longkongly (Style Icon), Wanthei Noklang (Miss Photogenic and Viewers Choice), Angshom Chemdok (Miss Talent), and Phemching (Beautiful Skin).
