Mokokchung AutoX 2018 concludes

  Mokokchung, May 4 (MExN): The 4th edition of the Mokokchung AutoX and Maostu Sprint 2018 organized by Adventure and Motorsports Association of Mokokchung (Amam) culminated today at Yimchalu village.   As reported earlier, the final results was based on the scored of both formats (AutoX and Moatsu Sprint) in their respective categories; the competitor’s timing of both the formats was tabulated and was declared in a prize distribution ceremony at The Woods, a resort in Yimchalu this evening.   Today’s race resulted in Denis Assumi from Team DMSC, Dimapur emerging as the champion in SUV category. He finished both the events in 4:48.84 minutes. Assumi was followed by Sandeep Sharma from Team Maruti Motorsports, Delhi who clocked 5:10.19 minutes and Imtisanen from Team SMI, Mokokchung with 5:15.42 minutes.   In Above 13000 CC, Ewellson Lyngdoh from Team MSAM, Meghalaya finished both the formats in 4:08.28 minutes followed by Bento Swu from team DMSC, Dimapur at 4:39.84 minutes and Sandeep Sharma from Team Maruti Motorsports, Delhi at 4:44.34 minutes respectively.   In Below 1300 CC, V Yeshika Yepthomi from team DMSC, Dimapur clocked 4:41.97 minutes ahead of Alem I Jamir from Team AMAM and Obeth Shitio from Team AMAM who clocked 4:46.40 and 4:54.78 minutes respectively.   AutoX and Moatsu Sprint 2018 saw participation from 65 professional motor racers from Delhi, Kolkata, Assam, Meghalaya and Motorsports Association across Nagaland.
